My Sisters Wedding

My Sister’s Wedding was probably one of the best days ever!

We started the morning off by getting our hair and makeup done in a big suite in the hotel. I was the Maid of Honour, and the bridesmaids were my sister’s best friend Liz and her FiancĂ©’s sister Alicia. My mom and Grandma joined us to get our hair and makeup done.

We then got dressed and put on all of our dresses and shoes and my sister got into her wedding dress.

We all hopped in the limo and drove to the ceremony, which was at her FiancĂ©’s family home in Guelph. The ceremony took place outside on a sunny July Afternoon on 48 acres.

Everything that day seemed to be perfect and I couldn’t be happier for my sister.

I, of course couldn’t hold it together when I was asked to read a Love poem in front of the crowd, which was totally embarrassing but I managed to complete the poem and go back to my place.

The ceremony ended and everyone went to a banquet hall at the golf course for the reception. We drank, we ate, we had cake and celebrated Adam & Ashley’s Marriage.

The night continued with speeches and dancing and game. I had the best time and so did all of the guests.

3 years later, they are still happily married, living in Guelph and expecting their first Baby.

I’m so proud of you Ashley!

Cooper The Golden Pup

This little guy is quite a handful. Cute & cuddly but definitely hard work.

When we first got cooper in July, we were told that he was a purebred Golden Retriever. However, as he has grown up, we are convinced that he is also part lab.

This clumsy, flopping puppy has my heart.

Cooper is 9 months old and 73 Pounds. He loves to give you kisses and loves when you rub his belly. In fact when you stop rubbing his belly, he smacks you with his paw.

We took cooper to puppy school and he almost got kicked out because he was so poorly behaved. He would bark when the instructor was talking, constantly pulling on the leash and knocking me and others over. When cooper has a toy, there is no getting it back. When cooper has something of yours.... there is no getting it back.

He loves to chew shoes, baseboards and rip apart stuffed animals. I was by no means ready to raise my own puppy, but I still love the little guy.

I am lucky enough to take him to work with me every day, because my parents both own their own businesses. He has 2 other homes and 2 whole other families who love him just as much as I do.

Whenever cooper is quiet, you know something is wrong.

Walking him is hard because he's so strong and so heavy that i end up running to keep up with him.

Cooper definitely has a strong personality and is a little crazy and wild at times, but thats okay because he's just like his owner!

About Me

Hello, my name is Alex Johnson and I am in my final semester at Sheridan College.

I love to travel and I have a passion for sports, whether watching or playing.

I am a happy person and out going, as well as a people person and easy to talk to. I am tech savvy, quick at learning new things and am also a team player.

I have a good vision of my life based on where I am now and where I want to be in the future, however I wouldn't be where I am today without my family (my support system).

My Work experience is limited because I have always worked for both my parent’s companies, which I know every aspect of, inside and out. However previous to that I worked at La Senza part time, and Fossil through the Christmas holidays.

Over the past 2 summers, I have coached girl’s house league soccer for the Oakville Soccer Club. I feel that is important that these young girls have a role model.

I also love giving back to the community through volunteering. I participate in an annual fundraiser called Santa to a senior through Home Instead Senior Care.

I am very proud of who I am and I hope to achieve great things in this world.
