Dear Peanut

The first grandchild of my family will be born on April 16th 2015 and I couldn’t be more excited; especially because he or she will be my niece or nephew.

This little peanut is so spoiled and he/she hasn’t even entered the world yet.

As the aunt, I decided to host my sister’s baby shower in March. The theme is Winnie the Pooh and all kinds of family and friends will be coming to celebrate.

When my sister told me that she was pregnant, I cried tears of happiness. I am quite surprised that she was able to keep it from me.

My sister and brother-in-law are going to be great parents and I am so ready to meet this little peanut (I call it peanut because they haven’t found out the gender).

It is very difficult to shop for the baby when you don’t know the gender. Therefore I stick with Navy blue, brown, beige and white.

My mom and I really want the baby to be a girl, but my sister doesn’t care which gender will arrive!

My dad is all ready to play tea party and dress up if it’s a little girl.

I’ll be heading up to Guelph, where they live to help my sister out a few days after the baby is born with my mom, because my brother-in-law unfortunately has to go back to work.

Can’t wait to meet you Peanut, and give you all the loving that you deserve!
